Project:
Farmhouse refurbishment
Client
Private Client, Somerset
We were tasked with turning this tired old farmhouse into historically sensitive and environmentally modern home.
Works included removal of the old render to expose the stonework below, installing a new roof, extending the rear elevation with an open plan kitchen/diner extension with green roof and large sliding glass doors. Walls, roof and floor were heavily insulated and the old oil boiler was replaced with a new Air source heat pump supported by a roof mounted solar PV system and battery storage.
Project:
Complete property refurbishment
Client
Private Client, Bristol
This was a complete property refurbishment carried out over a year.
We worked closely with the client and their design team to undertake the full refurbishment of an end of terrace Victorian property in Bristol. The comprehensive works included for a new insulated roof and solar PV panels and solar thermal installations.
The complete internal re-design and fit-out included major structural work and underground drainage renewal.
Like many properties, access conditions and the timely coordination with neighbouring properties were key to ensuring a successful project outcome
